Tasmania Legal Aid and Community Legal Centres Tasmania are hosting a pop-up stall in both Launceston and Hobart.

These stalls will allow informal opportunities for members of the community to speak to a range of legal professionals from different services, get some free merchandise (featuring the winner of a recent Legal Aid design competition), and learn about what free legal supports are available in your communities.

There is no need to register for this event – simply show up at the correct location and time to chat to a locate legal professional!

  • Launceston: Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at 12:30-3:00pm AT Meadow Mews Plaza: 102-106 Hobart Road, Kings Meadows

Community Legal Centres Tasmania Inc. (CLC Tas) is the peak body Community Legal Centres (CLCs) in Tasmania. It is a member based, independent, not-for-profit and incorporated organisation that advocates for law reform on a range of public interest matters aimed at improving access to justice, reducing discrimination and protecting and promoting human rights. CLCs are resourced by a part-time policy officer who is funded by the Tasmanian Government and the Solicitors’ Guarantee Fund. CLC Tas itself does not provide legal advice to members of the public. The office is able to assist those seeking legal advice by referrals to an appropriate legal service provider.
